Over the weekend of 11th to 13th July, a Flower Festival took place in the church to mark the Centenary of the start of World War 1, and to launch an appeal to pay for restoring the War Memorial on the West Wall of the Church.
These photos give you an idea of how wonderful the flower arrangements were, and there was also a lot of information, alongside a plethora of memorabilia lent by people both from the village and beyond.
So far we have raised £925, and if you would like to make a contribution, please send your donation to Mike Gould, 91 Whitstone Road, Shepton Mallet, BA4 5PP, remembering to indicate if you are a UK tax payer, and would like to add Gift Aid to your donation.
